The annual Punt, Pass, and Kick competition was Sunday at Warrior Stadium in Marion.

Each contestant had one opportunity to punk, pass, and kick a football. Contestants’ scores were determined by adding the distance the ball traveled on each event. Competitors were penalized for throws or kicks that didn’t go straight.

First-place winners in each age group have the opportunity to compete at a sectional competition at 2 p.m., Oct. 24 in Council Grove. Winners of that competition will go to a multi-state competition at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
