Quilters’ bus tour to visit Marion

Shop is one of 12 to be visited in two states

A bus full of 40 quilting enthusiasts searching Kansas and Nebraska for the perfect fabric will briefly stop Thursday afternoon in Marion to shop at Sew What Quilt Shop.

Sew What is one of 12 shops the quilters will tour. The tour will begin and end at Wellington.

Marion is the next-to-last stop on the three-day, two-night bus trip. After stopping at Sew What, the bus will head back to Wellington.

Other shops the Shop Hop Bus Tour will visit include Full of Scrap Quilts and Fabric Essentials in Concordia; the Quilt Basket in York, Nebraska; Material Girl Fabrics in Grand Island, Nebraska; Sew What Needle Art in Columbus, Nebraska; Nebraska Quilt Co. in Fremont, Nebraska; ACME Fabric and Quilt Co. in Blair, Nebraska; Cosmic Cow in Lincoln, Nebraska; Quilt Stitches in Beatrice, Nebraska; and Quilter’s Yard in Junction City.

The group will spend about an hour at Marion.
