When I was in my 40s, I thought I should get my creative bubbles working. I had been reading a lot of novels and I thought I should get busy and write a book.
I had some characters in mind and some places too. I knew some things about jealousy, envy, greed, and love. I had an idea about how to put it all together. I actually had some real people in mind.
The two brothers lived on a farm. Ned began to think Sally, the girl, looked pretty good and she liked him too. You can see how things could get complicated. I began to wonder how I could work it all out. My land, there could be murder involved. I’ve seen so many of those shows on TV. I didn’t want to go that way. I can’t stand those murders and law cases. Things can get so complicated. I began to think housework and cleaning isn’t so bad after all.
If any of you would like to look it over, just contact me.
Here it is 10 p.m., I’m stuck, and it’s Sunday too.
So, goodnight and sweet dreams.
Did you see the cute picture of the Presbyterian minister and his family on the front of the Marion
Resource Guide? So cute.
