Richard Potter, 66, who worked as a painter, died Friday in Hillsboro.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home.

He was born April 13, 1948, in Clarinda, Iowa, to Samuel and Inez (Carson) Potter.

Survivors include two daughters, Christy Potter-Kass of Stockertown, Pennsylvania, and Jennifer Potter of Los Angeles; a brother, Larry Potter of McPherson; and a sister, Ruth Land of Moundridge.
