Route 77 Pit Stop closes its doors

Route 77 Pit Stop, a former convenience store in Lincolnville, closed for business March 15.

Co-owner and operator Sabrina Shields said she had “too many irons in the fire” to keep it going.

“They needed my help more on the farm,” she said.

Her husband, Heath, is a partner in Shields Farms and operates a forage harvesting business.

Shields said they have a couple of prospective buyers but nothing is official yet.
