Ruby Schroeder

Ruby M. Schroeder, 89, died Sept. 2, 2008, at Golden Living Center, Marion. She was born Feb. 23, 1919, at Lake Charles, La.

She was married to Dr. E.K. Schroeder, and was the office manager for his dental practice for more than 40 years. He died in 2003.

She was a member of Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis of Peabody and Edsel of Marion; and a sister, Erma Ensz of Hillsboro.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion, with Pastor Mike Eurit officiating.

Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with the American Cancer Society in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
