Ruth Neufeld

Ruth E. Neufeld, 93, died Thursday at Newton Medical Center.  

Funeral service was Monday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church with interment at Ebenfeld Cemetery.  

She was born July 17, 1922, to Dietrich and Marie (Krause) Heidebrecht in Hillsboro.  

She was a missionary and homemaker.  

She married Alvin H. Neufeld on June 3, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2011.

Survivors include: sons, Philip Neufeld of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Stanley Neufeld of McPherson; daughters, Phoebe Goldsmith of Springfield, Missouri, Naomi Jeanne Wiebe of Newton, and Becky Wall of Selma, California; sister, Elfrieda Fast of Hillsboro; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
