The Marion Middle School scholars bowl teams both placed at the Berean Academy meet on Monday.

The seventh grade team posted a 4-1 record to win its division. The Wildcats defeated Canton-Galva, 40-25, Berean, 60-50, Peabody-Burns, 80-20, and Centre, 60-30. They lost to Remington, 60-35.

Logan Waner led the scoring with 95 points followed by Collin Williams with 75, Devin Hamm with 70, and Jack Schnieder with 35.

In the eighth-grade division, Marion placed second with a 3-2 record. The Wildcats defeated Canton-Galva, 85-10, Peabody-Burns, 95-40, and Remington, 110-15, while losing to Berean Academy, 60-55, and Centre 65-40. Nathan Baldwin led the scoring with 195 points followed by Bryce Shults with 70, Cade Harms with 60, Mason Pedersen with 50, and Ezra Darnall with 10.
