Science of sports to be focus of free program
How science, technology, engineering, and math relate to baseball, soccer, football, and more will be among the topics explored in STEMtacular, a special program next week at Marion City Library.
STEMtacular, put on by staff from Exploration Place in Wichita, is designed for children kindergarten through eighth grade but is open to everyone older and younger.
Children will rotate through action stations where they will score a goal from a specific angle, measure the force of a hit or the speed of a ball toss, and more.
More information about the free program is available from the library at (620) 382-2442.
