SENIOR CENTER: Center gets Christmas tree

Marion Senior Center

The center has been ready for the holidays since Bill and Vickie Kaempfe brought in a big Christmas tree and decorations.

Emergency meals provided by the Area Agency on Aging have been delivered to meals-on-wheels recipients for when the center is closed or if the power goes off in town.

The Lunch Bunch came Dec. 4. They brought snacks, ate with us, and had a party.

Gayla Ratzlaff made a presentation Dec. 5 of a handmade Chinese checkerboard created by woodworker Jerry Keen of Wichita, who gave a presentation at the center Oct. 18.

Dec. 19 will feature carol singing with Sue Clough and Keith Allison.

The center will have a Christmas dinner Dec. 21 in conjunction with Marion County Senior Citizens monthly board meeting.
