Butler County Department on Aging representatives will be at the senior center in Marion Aug. 28 to discuss foster grandparenting

County resident and author Elaine McAllister, who wrote
“Celebrate Grandparenting,” presented the Aug. 14 program.

Veterans representative Judy Thompson was at the center Aug. 13 for her semi-monthly visit. No appointment is needed for these visits.

Marion Senior Center is still open to those interested in volunteering in the kitchen once a week.
