Marion Senior Center

Freezer donated to center

Senior Center

Harold Van Buren recently gave a new, much appreciated, upright freezer to the center.

Lucille Bitner made cinnamon rolls that Sue Clough took to Marion Manufacturing employees to thank them for the lid they made for the senior center’s barbecue grill.

The senior center’s “flower parade” continues, as Shirley Bowers recently brought in peonies.

The county senior citizens board will be at the center May 19 for lunch and their monthly meeting.

There will be an extra program in May, as Phoebe Hett, a Miss Kansas contestant, will sing on Monday and also present information on foster care. Sue Clough and Keith Allison will give a musical presentation May 24.
