Site manager Janet Bryant of Marion Senior Center addressed Marion Kiwanis on Tuesday.

Bryant said the center is a gathering place for many in the community and once a month distributes commodities.

The center has programs with a speaker every Wednesday.

The center also celebrates holidays, or other quirky events such as Elvis’s birthday, fork day, national day of the cowboy, Mickey Mouse day, and others.
