Senior center honors volunteers

Marion Senior Center honored its volunteers for their service June 19.

Site manager Janet Bryant read “Ode to a Volunteer” and gave out official pins and ballpoint pens to show appreciation.

National Volunteer Week was in April.

Norma Kline presented a treasurer’s report from Marion County Senior Citizens board June 24.

The board held a meeting at the center June 19.

The center will be closed Friday in observance of the July 4 holiday.
