Senior center needs drivers

Marion Senior Center is looking for two drivers to distribute meals on wheels beginning in November.

The run usually takes less than an hour and mileage is reimbursed. If interested, contact Janet Bryant at (620) 382-2942.

With fall setting in, the lunch menu includes warm combinations of bean soup and cornbread and chili and cinnamon rolls.

Flu shots were given at the center Oct. 9 by the Marion County Health Department.

The Oct. 10 program was a talk by new Marion city council member, Susan Gray.

Connie Fisher brought treats for her birthday Oct. 5.
