Senior Center to have meet, greet for candidates

A city commission candidate meet and greet will be Oct. 9 for Jerry Kline, Ruth Herbel and David Mayfield, who are running for office. John Wheeler will not be attending. Harlow Warneke will grill hamburgers for lunch.
Tickets for the Oct. 17 annual meeting in Hillsboro are available for $5.25. at the senior center.
The newsletter crew of Mary Hett, Irmagene Goodman, Larry and Bob Smith, Doris Winkler, Shirley Bowers and Gayla Ratzlaff came in Monday.
The Lunch Bunch joined the center Wednesday for hamburgers grilled by Harlow Warneke.
Flu shots will be available from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the county health department.Dr. Randy Whitely will give a program at the center on Oct. 8.
