Two seniors recently brought treats to celebrate their birthdays. Shirley Bowers brought cookies Oct. 3 and Connie Fisher brought candy bars Oct. 4.

Becky Hogue and Janie Westerman brought Halloween goodies Oct. 7. Thelma Blosser also brought packages of mini cookies.

Dr. Randolph Whitely gave a presentation with handouts on insomnia on Oct. 8.

Harlow Warneke grilled hamburgers on Oct. 9. Ruth Herbel, Jerry Kline, and David Mayfield, candidates for city council and mayor, spoke to the group that day.

Flu shots will be available from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday.

County commission candidate Amy Soyez will speak Oct. 23.
