Marion Senior Center celebrated Kansas Day on Jan. 29 with trivia including “You know you’re a Kansan when.” Sue Clough led seniors in singing “Home on the Range” to close the afternoon.

On days when Marion school district delays classes two hours and then cancels at 8 a.m., the senior center will still be open with lunch already prepared.

A vet rep will visit 11 a.m. Feb. 11. No appointment is needed.

Mayor David Mayfield will be the center’s lunch speaker Feb. 12.
