Several members of the class of 2019 played a role in their graduation Sunday at Centre High School.

Grace Knepp gave the invocation, Xavier Espinoza gave the address, and Kyle Naerebout gave the introduction. Several of their classmates sang in the Centre choir.

Teacher Sherri Hudson told graduates to take life “one at a time.” In other words, one moment at a time, one day at a time, one last day of high school at a time.

“Push through obstacles one at a time,” she said. “Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. You can accept failure, but you cannot accept not trying.”

She encouraged graduates to build healthy relationships because they make life more enjoyable and to reach beyond themselves to help others.
