SENIOR CENTER: Seniors learn about origin of casserole recipe

Senior center members learned how a Campbell’s Soup employee invented the classic green bean casserole that is part of their menu.
Roger Bitner brought treats on Jan. 7 in celebration of his birthday.
The Lunch Bunch ate at the center Jan. 8, which was Elvis’s birthday. A group photo was taken with a stand-up cutout figure of Elvis.
The center will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Day.
A veterans’ representative will be at the center at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
An Angels Care representative will present an educational program Jan. 23. Angels Care is a home health agency.
