Senior Center correspondent

More zucchini was left outside the front door, and Janice Waner brought cherry tomatoes from the community garden in Florence.

Daniel Floyd, chaplain at AseraCare Hospice in El Dorado, presented a program Aug. 6. He offered to sing before his PowerPoint presentation.

Burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, and watermelon will be served at a noon cookout Aug. 16. Call if you plan to join us!

Aug. 20 will be Senior Center Day. The program will be given by Linda Walter, organist/pianist.

Milk available with all meals. Call (620) 382-2942 by 9 a.m. to reserve a meal.

Friday — Sausage-egg casserole, biscuits and gravy, blueberry crisp, orange juice.

Monday — Pork roast, onion gravy, baked potato, green beans, fruit, whole wheat roll.

Tuesday — Lasagna, green beans, fruit, garlic toast.

August 20 — Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, wax beans, gelatin cake, whole wheat roll.

August 21 — Roast beef, gravy, baked potato, mixed vegetables, tropical fruit, whole wheat roll.
