Marion Senior Center

Volunteers have been working to prepare the senior center’s flower bed and make it easier to maintain.

Among those working on the bed in the front of the center March 24 were Keith Allison, Larry Blosser, Sue Clough, Shirley Moore, Marshall Richter, Chris Schafers, Kathy Shockley, Janie Westerman, Mark Wheeler, and Gene Winkler.

Neal Hett, Marion’s Pride committee, and The Building Center helped.

Roger Bitner was the first center patron to bring a spring flower to the center this year.

The center’s newsletter was prepared for mailing March 26 by a crew that included Al and Gloria Ash, Sue Clough, Irmagene Goodman, Mary Hett, Madonna Schafers, Barb and Larry Smith, and Doris Winkler.

Larry and Thelma Blosser donated a refrigerator to the center.

Members of Our Savior Lutheran Church dined at the center March 28, when Dawn Miller of Angels Care presented a program on allergies.

Bluestem Art Guild will display artwork throughout the week and present a program at noon April 11.
