Shelby Lynn Deines Linahan

Shelby Lynn Deines Linahan, 38, of Pierce City, Mo., died Monday at her parents’ home near Pierce City.

She was born on June 30, 1974, in Herington to Steve and Sandra (Fike) Deines. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Monett, Mo., and an elementary teacher in Webb City, Mo., Shawnee Mission, Dimond, Mo., and Monett, Mo.

She is survived by her parents; one son, Garrett Linahan of Pierce City; one brother, Shane Deines of Neosho, Mo.; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Kolle of Salina; and her maternal grandparents, Warren and Paula Fike of Ramona.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Monett, Mo., with Pastor Richard Cody officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Ramona.

Memorial funds have been established for Hospice Compassus of Neosho, Mo., and Central Park School, Monet, Mo.
