OFFENSE REPORTS

These offense reports were released last week by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department:

Burglary of a dwelling, criminal damage to property

Two double-glazed sunroom windows valued at $1,000 were broken and a chain saw valued at $239.99 was stolen from a kitchen between 8 a.m. and noon July 24 on 60th Road west of Peabody. Julie D. Torseth, 63, and John D. Torseth, 86, both of Country Club Drive in Newton, reported the burglary.

Burglary of a non-dwelling, theft

A subwoofer and amplifier valued at $600 were reported stolen between midnight July 1 and 4:30 p.m. July 29 from a vehicle parked in a storage building along U.S. 56-77 north of Lost Springs. James Paul Zeller, 23, whose mailing address is Herington, reported the burglary.

Criminal tresspass

A deputy investigated a domestic dispute involving a woman allegedly entering her former husband’s property around 6 p.m. July 23 on 30th Road near Peabody.

Felony theft

A 1984 Honda valued at $600 and an air compressor valued at $100 were reported stolen from Rebecca Noreen Williams, 35, between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 27 in the 300 block of West 3rd Street in Lincolnville.

Misdemeanor criminal damage to property

A shot from a BB gun around 8 p.m. July 25 broke a window valued at $1,700 at Angela Base’s residence in the 200 block of East Main Street in Goessel, deputies reported.

Misdemeanor theft

Erma A. Pankratz, 82, reported that a bicycle valued at $50 was taken at 1 p.m. July 27 from the 400 block of East Main Street in Goessel.

Shiloh Wayne Kessler, 32, reported that a ring valued at $150 was stolen between midnight July 19 and 7:30 p.m. July 27 from a bedroom in the 200 block of South Church Street in Goessel.

Theft of less than $1,000 by threat

Sammy Joe Cook, 53, reported that 100 pieces of lumber valued at $1,200 were removed at 1 p.m. July 17 from a barn on 290th Road near Durham.
