Kenneth and Anita Sly will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 13.

Kenneth and Anita were married in 1955 at the bride’s parents’ home in rural Marion County.

Children of the couple are Hollyce Morris of Topeka, K.D. Sly of Amarillo, Texas, Colleen Garman of Salina, Justin Sly of Belleville, and Ernestine Sly of Plainville. They have 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
