Stenzels to celebrate 50th anniversary

Howard and Evelyn (Dyck) Stenzel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in McPherson.

Howard and Evelyn were marred on Aug. 9 1963 at the First Mennonite Church in Halstead.

Howard worked as a math teacher in Kiowa, El Dorado, Wichita, Marion, and McPherson before retiring. Evelyn worked as a language arts teacher in El Dorado, Wichita, and McPherson before retiring.

The Stenzels will celebrate their anniversary with their children, Eric and Jennifer Stenzel of Newton, Eugene and Julie Stenzel of Newton, and Kevin Stenzel of Denver, Co., and their grandchildren, Zachary, Zaden, Zeanna, Abby, Kyle, and Luke.
