Stories to be displayed in store windows

Parents and children in four towns can stroll downtown to enjoy children’s stories when Story Walk begins June 29.

Four books will be displayed page by page in downtown windows at Hillsboro, Marion, Peabody and Tampa.

Each week the stories will rotate to another town.

The first week’s schedule is:

Hillsboro — “The Little Red Hen.”

Marion — “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.”

Peabody — “Head to Toe.

Tampa — Owl Babies.”

Story Walk is being sponsored by Parents as Teachers, Marion County K-State Research and Development, and local libraries. More information is available at (620) 947-4041.
