Summer baseball warms up

Baseball, softball, and T-ball are gearing up in Marion.

Registration forms for summer baseball teams, available on the Marion school district website and through the high school office, are due Friday.

The district will offer teams for children age 3 to boys age 15 and girls age 16.

Each team has a registration fee.

The baseball season will begin in June.

Marion Baseball Youth Clinic for kids in third through eighth grade will be 9 a.m. to noon March 17 to 19.

The hitting camp, with kids being taught the fundamentals of hitting, will be at the metal building south of the football stadium.

Registration forms were sent out to parents through the schools, but parents who did not get the registration form can contact the high school office.
