Sweet recipe shared during meeting

Garry and Cathy Henderson shared bottles of honey from the Marion County Food Bank and Lydia Gates bought in a recipe for Swedish Honey Cookies and some coriander, which is an ingredient in the recipe.
The senior center’s cook attended a funeral on Feb. 7, but prepared chili and cinnamon rolls ahead of time. Becky Hogue helped serve and Max Ewert did the dishes.
Reporter Phyllis Zorn rode along with Jill Tichenor as she delivered meals on Feb. 7.
Mayor David Mayfield spoke at the center on Feb. 12 and Jim Gates and Kendall Allison helped with the dishes.
Representatives of Angels Care Home Health will deliver a program on Alzheimer’s disease on Feb. 26.
