Swimmers 2nd at home meet

The Hillsboro, Peabody, Centre, and Marion swim team finished second Friday at an invitational meet at Marion’s Sports and Aquatics Center.
Lauryn Vogt was part of most of the first place finishes for the team.
She won in the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle and was part of relay teams that won in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley.
Others on the relay teams were Talia Jost, Violet Klein, and Trudy Hein.
Jost won the 50 freestyle and finished second in the 100 backstroke.
Klein finished fourth in the 100 butterfly.
Alexis Hostetler, Austyn Driggers, Chloe Callahan, and Tandice Tajchman placed fifth in the 400 freestyle relay.
The combined team will compete Friday and Saturday at Maize.
