Donna Newsom Tabatabai, daughter of the late Rendel and Gertrude Newsom of Marion, and her husband Kasim will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.

They were married March 5, 1966, in the Marion Presbyterian Church.

They have four daughters: Susan Sinnott of State College, Pennsylvania, Amina Feehan of France, Muna Mitchell and Nancy Tabatabai, both of Austin; six grandsons, and one granddaughter.
