The Sunflower Senior Citizens and guests visited Manhattan on June 26. They toured Flint Hills Discovery Center in the morning and went to Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art in the afternoon. Before returning home, they stopped at Call Hall for ice cream from K-State cows. Among those on the trip were Ira Lee Barnard, Maxine Barton, Phyllis Branson, Cruz Carrosco, Tom and Dee Duggan, Betty Mueller, Jane Vajnar, Zeb and Norma Wright, and Leo Yanda, who drove the van.

Lori Moldenhauer and Lisa Weber and Anna brought supper to Frank and Anna Mae Stika on June 26 to help Anna Mae celebrate her birthday. A flower constructed of decorated cupcakes crowned the meal. The birthday lady also received many cards and phone calls. Irma Benda visited the Stikas later in the evening.

Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City was a supper and overnight guest of his mother, Lucille Kerbs, on June 22 and 26 en route to and from meetings in Salina and Topeka.

Gary and Carole Spohn accompanied Ryan Spohn of Bellview, Neb., to Lexington, Okla., on June 22 for a baseball tournament in which Ryan’s son Adam played. His team took first in the league. On June 23 they went to Washington, Okla., to watch Lauren Spohn play in a 14-team softball tournament. Her team took fourth.

Sydney Smith spent June 25 and 26 with her great- grandmother, Lucille Kerbs.

Jane Vajnar accompanied Autumn Chisholm to Topeka on June 23 for the wedding of Cassandra Robinett and Logan Flaming Geis. An outdoor ceremony at Shawnee Lake was followed by dinner and a dance at the Fraternal Order of Police hall.

Norma Wagner of Wichita was a weekend guest of her sister, Georgia Spohn. On June 22, they met Steve and Sheri Spohn at Hope for supper.

Tim and Amanda Baxa and Sophia of Wichita were June 24 visitors of her grandmother, Leona Kleiber.

Lucille Kerbs visited Connie Thompson and Taylor on June 23 in Abilene, and they met Allison Sluder and Brooklyn for dinner.
