Teacher gets technology grant

Sue Buchholz, special education teacher at Marion Elementary School and Hillsboro Middle School, received a $500 grant earlier this month from the Kansas Association of American Educators to purchase an iPad, headphones, and computer applications to help students she teaches.

She received the grant through a competitive application process with winners selected by a committee of teachers who conducted a blind review of applications.
