Test drives raise $4K for area schools

More than 200 drivers raised over $4,000 for area schools in Hillsboro Ford’s Drive 4 ur School fundraiser.
Hillsboro High School Booster Club had 148 participants who raised $2,960 at $20 per drive. Goessel’s school district had 35 drivers raise $700 while Marion and Peabody each had 11 drivers raise $220, according to un-official counts sent by Terry Hagen of Hillsboro Ford.
Official numbers await waiver confirmation.
“The dealership is looking forward to next year’s Drive 4 ur school, as we try to collaborate our resources for the whole county,” Hagen said in a press release. “The more we can drive and keep our business in the county the better it will be for the whole county.”
