Thaine May

Thaine R. “Bud” May, 87, of Marion, died Dec. 3, in Wichita.

Born Jan. 2, 1922, in Elk, to Raymond L. and Maude (Rider) May, he grew up in Emporia.

He retired in 1990 at Marion County Lake.

His parents; two brothers, Lawrence and June; and a sister, Patricia Falk, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a sister, Joan Dalrymple of Fort Worth, Texas.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
