Tom and Audrey McLinden of Marion recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 19, 1972, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa.

They have three daughters, Ann McLinden of Marion; Amanda and Tony Gardner of Marion and their children, Dakota and Larissa; and Tomi and Scott Weeaks of Marlow, Okla.

Their family and friends had a surprise barbecue and potluck in honor of their anniversary on Aug. 18 at the Pilsen Community Building.
