Too graphic

To the editor:

I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 1. If I read the article about my son or grandson as you published the tragic story of Seth Mader on the front page of your paper last week, I would be devastated.

I can’t imagine already grieving my loss and then reading your graphic article. The article was very distasteful and very unnecessary.

I hope in the future, your paper takes into consideration, before publishing stories, how they might and will affect the families, friends, and communities in Marion County and beyond.

Your writers and publishers need to rethink how their stories should be written in ways that either positively or negatively impact others.
