USDA food available Feb. 9

U.S. Department of Agriculture food commodities will be available at the senior centers in Marion County on Feb. 9.

Each senior center will distribute them according to its own schedule. The commodities are available to individuals and families who are income eligible and should be picked up from their local distribution site.

If commodities run out at one site, individuals may call the Marion County Department on Aging at (620) 382-3580 to find out where commodities are available.

Marion Senior Center will distribute from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 10 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday after that.

Residents of the Lincolnville area may pick up commodities at the residence of Brian and Denise Klein, 219 Adams St., from 4 to 6 p.m.
