Seniors celebrated Valentine’s Day with trivia and special treats including a cake made by cook Lucille Bitner and served with strawberries and whipped cream. Imogene Goodman brought candy and Robert and Edie Jones brought chocolate treats.

Memorial boxes for Val Morgan and Christopher Schafers are available for contributions to the senior center.

Jerry Kline brought his wife’s homemade cookies for his birthday Feb. 18. He asked seniors not to bother to sing “Happy Birthday” to him, so they hummed it instead.

The center was closed Wednesday per bad-weather rules. It will need to have three makeup days on Saturdays during the summer.

Gayla Ratzlaff will give a program March 6 about “Group 2525, Second Saturday to Serve.” It was postponed earlier from another snow day.
