Victor Brunner
Victor P. “Vic” Brunner, 93, of Herington, formerly of rural Burdick, died June 3 at Herington Municipal Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1917, at Ramona, to Henry F. and Ida (Heoppner) Brunner.
He had retired from Morris County road department and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington.
He married Helene “Helen” Domann on Jan. 19, 1941, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Herington.
A son, Donald; brother Robert; and two sisters, Evelyn Heafner and Dorothy Matz preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Herington; two sons, Gaylord Victor of Herington and Milton of Salina; three brothers, George of St. Louis, and Harold and Leslie of Wichita; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington. The Rev. Troy Slayter officiated.
Burial followed at Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.
