Virginia Frick

Virginia Frick, 99, of Durham, died Feb. 28 at Salem Home, Hillsboro.

Born Nov. 8, 1910, in Shattuck, Okla., to Edward and Anna (Wasemiller) Weber, she was a homemaker.

She married Ralph “Pete” Frick on May 28, 1932, at Newton. He died in 1973. A daughter, Janice Kaufman, died in 2007.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Durham.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Hotchkiss of Murphy, N.C.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were this morning at First Baptist Church, Durham, with the Rev. Brett Huebner officiating.

Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery, Durham.

A memorial fund has been established with the church.
