Visitors to get peek at new restaurant

Old Settlers Day visitors will get a taste of Marion’s newest restaurant from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday during sneak preview opening of Parlour 1886 at the Historic Elgin Hotel.

Appetizers and a few entrees will be served along with beer, wine and cocktails. The restaurant’s grand opening is slated for October.
