Marion Senior Center recognized dining room helpers, meal delivery people, and the “round table ladies” April 16 during National Volunteer Week.

On April 22, the Department of Aging recognized volunteer members of the newsletter crewmembers and drivers who take people to doctor appointments.

Potted begonias and senior center meal tickets were given as door prizes to Nora Richter, Barb Smith, Virginia Downing, Wanda Hamm, and Larry Smith after their names were drawn.

The senior center received news that longtime diners Darrel and Beulah Wigart are now living at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

A representative from Eagle Med gave an informative presentation about its service on April 22. Their helicopter was on display at St. Luke Hospital that day.

There will be a program after lunch May 6.
