It may be almost a year away, but preparations have started for exhibits and events at Marion City Library in support of the Water/Ways Smithsonian Institution exhibition touring the state.

Water/Ways will be in Cottonwood Falls in February and March. As a partner site selected by Kansas Humanities Council, the library will be host to local exhibitions and programs exploring the numerous relationships between the people of Kansas and water.

An informal meeting at 7 p.m. April 26 in the library’s Santa Fe Room will provide information about how volunteers can help with publicity, displays, research, programs, and events.
