Voncille Jean Dirks, 57, of Hillsboro died Monday at Hillsboro Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Hutchinson to Leonard and Voncille (Johnson) Goering.

She worked in medical records and health information at Hillsboro Community Hospital. She married Norman Dirks on April 12, 1986, in Hillsboro.

She is survived by her husband, Norman of Hillsboro; and two brothers, Thomas of Pretty Prairie and Russell of Mustang, Okla.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Steve Schroeder officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Gnadenau Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Memorial funds have been established for Parkview Church and Union Rescue Mission.
