Centre golfers fare well

Marion High School golf team was in Herington April 9 and left with four medals.

Freshman Jared Vondenkamp tied for first at the meet, while classmate Adam Molleker took third.

Others earning medals included sophomores Jordan Versch, 11th, and Adam Cope, 15th.

Senior Philip Gu was 28th, freshman Olivia Young, 31st, and Derek Stuchlik, 37th.

Centre golfers were among top-finishers as well, with James Weber earning a tie with Vondenkamp.

Quentin Wacker was fifth, Canh Antoszyk, sixth, Mikael Antoszyk, 16th, Trevor Hageberg, 20th, Benjamin Wirtz, 21st, and Seth Stroda, 33rd.
