Emily Katherine O’Sullivan and Noah Stone Carter were married May 31, 2008, at Christ the King Church, Tulsa, Okla.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Melissa O’Sullivan and Pam and Terry Carter, all of Tulsa, Okla.
Grandparents of the couple are Jackie Hett of Marion and the late Walt Hett, Barbara O’Sullivan and the late Bill O’Sullivan, Doris Stone and the late Tex Stone, and the late Louise and Dale Carter.
Father Brian O’Brien officiated at the seven o’clock double ring ceremony.
A string quartet furnished musical selections.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an ivory double-faced satin strapless fit-to-flair gown featuring a draped neckline. She carried a bouquet of ivory orchids, roses, and peonies.
Maddie O’Sullivan of Tulsa, Okla., was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erica Demeritt of Atlanta, Ga., sister of the bride, Lauren Carter of Tulsa, Okla., sister of the groom, and Lauren Helmer of Dallas, Texas, cousin of the bride.
The bride’s attendants wore shadow gray silk crinkle gowns with crossover bodice and carried bouquets of ivory and green orchids, white peonies, and roses.
Sloan O’Sullivan of Columbia, Mo., was the flower girl. Cooper O’Sullivan of Columbia, Mo., was the ring bearer.
Will Thomas of New York, N.Y., served as best man. The groom’s attendants were Ryan O’Sullivan and Lo Detrich, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Mickey Pirraglia of Kansas City, Mo.
Guests were seated by friends and family of the bride and groom.
Harrison and Katherine Horne of Tulsa, Okla., were guest book attendants.
A reception was held at the McBirney Mansion and hosted by the bride’s parents.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Kansas and currently attends the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry.
Her husband is a graduate of Rockhurst University. He currently is employed at QuikTrip.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Kansas City, Mo.
