Brittany Lynn Novak and Scott Adam Heller were married at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 2008, at Nolte Farms in Seguin, Texas.

The Reverent John Payne and Rabbi Monte Eliasov officiated. The inter-faith ceremony and gala reception and dance were held on the Guadalupe River.

The bride is the daughter of retired Col. Bill and Janet Lynn Novak of San Antonio, Texas. Grandparents are Bill and Dollye Novak of Lost Springs, and Janet Wrieden of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and the late Fred Wrieden.

The groom is the son of Michael and Laurie Heller of Holbrook, N.Y. Grandparents are Norma Heller of Manhattan, N.Y. and the late Emanuel Heller, the late Irving and Sylvia Barbash, and the late Ben Lutzky.

The newlyweds honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and reside in San Antonio.

The bride attends the University of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in multi-disciplinary sciences.

The groom graduated from Cornell University and New York Medical College. Captain Heller serves in the U.S. Air Force at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base where he is a third-year resident doctor of neurology.

A pre-wedding dinner party was Oct. 11 at Sazo’s Latin Grill in the Marriott Hotel on the Riverwalk. It was hosted by Michael and Laurie Heller.
