WEDDINGS: Moore-Bechlin

Ashlee Kathryn Moore and Adam Michael Biechlin, both of San Antonio, Texas, were married Oct. 1 at Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio. Bishop Bill Frey officiated the wedding.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She currently works in the medical intensive care unit at University Hospital in San Antonio. The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. He is the general manager of Bike World in San Antonio.

Ashlee is the daughter of Patrick and Jandee Moore of Marion. Adam is the son of Michael Biechlin and Cary Tucker of Austin Texas.

Sister of the bride, Amber Moore of Marion, was the maid of honor. Sister of the bride, RaeAnn Higgens-Starkey was a bridesmaid. The best man was Michael Biechlin.

Nephew of the bride Lane Svoboda of Marion, was the ring bearer. Eliza Richardson of Wichita Falls, Texas, was the flower girl. Ushers were friends Paul Ross and Jackson McIntosh of Austin. The guest book attendant was Emilie Biechlin, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held at La Hacienda at Los Patios, San Antonio. The couple honeymooned in Port Aransas, Texas. There is trip to England planned for this coming October.

Geoffrey Waite played piano at the wedding and Chris LeCluyse was a vocalist.

The bride’s dress was a Casablanca No. 1975, a beaded lace appliqué on Point D’Esprit over a Luxe satin gown. The dress was accented with Swarovska crystals, pearls, beads, and silver-backed sequins. It also featured a v-shaped neckline with pearl encrusted spaghetti straps and a fit and flare silhouette in ivory.

The flowers were ivory roses, burnt orange roses, orange freesia, plum colla lilies, and stem wrap with great-grandad’s hand kerchief.

The bridesmaid dresses were champagne colored t-length dresses.
