Erin Rosechell Pentz of Macksville and Tyler Scott Miesse of Marion were married May 9 in Lemon Park, Pratt, in an evening ceremony, with the Rev. Carl Helm of Marion Christian Church officiating.

The bride’s parents are Delmar and Linda Pentz of Macksville.

Scott and Laurie Miesse of Marion are parents of the groom.

Michael Wagner of Larned, a friend of the couple, was vocalist.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white, strapless dress with crystal beads. Complementing the gown, the bride wore a long veil with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Shannon Bland of Enid, Okla., attended her sister as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Heidi McComb of Pratt, sister of the bride; Jamie Wagner of Larned, Nancy Brant of Pratt, and Kandi Evans of Macksville, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Brexten Bland of Enid and Kami McComb of Pratt, the bride’s nieces.

They wore black, knee-length dresses of different styles and baby’s breath veils.

Kodi McComb of Pratt, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She carried a basket of red roses.

Ray May of Marion, friend of the groom, was best man.

Groomsmen were Bill Anderson, Jarvis Whiteman, and Thad Luper, all of Marion and friends of the groom.

Brady McComb of Pratt, nephew of the bride; Ryan Creech of Topeka, the bride’s cousin; and Michael Wagner served as ushers.

A reception followed the ceremony in the Pratt County 4-H Building.

Punch was served by April Bissell of Macksville, friend of the bride. The cake was made by Judy Seibert of Nebraska, a friend of the bride.

The couple honeymooned in Eureka Springs.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Macksville High School. She graduated from Sydney’s Hair Design in 2004. She is employed by The Hair Company, Marion.

Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Marion High School and attended Pratt Community College. He is employed by Miesse & Sons, Colwich.

The couple live in Marion.
